Horisont at the underworld – 16th November 2014

The Swedish troupe aren’t strangers to London or in fact the stoner rock scene in general right now

The troupe tonight find themselves among a strong cascade of fans who are braving this cold Sunday’s winter.

The five piece lighten spirits though with their strong blend of rich darker Led Zeppelin flaring fuzz and dazzling vocal traits. It’s not surprising the band are “Breaking the limit” with their presence right now.

After playing in Camden’s Black heart,a tiny function room that is only centimetres bigger than your sitting room, earlier this year at Desertfest. It’s this use of an intimate venue that brings out the best in the band as shown within the gig tonight.

Working the crowd over with their blend of ‘grab a barstool and gather round’ story telling lyrics and galloping bass lines. It is hard to pinpoint a precise genre for them as whatever they seem to work on works out well. The crowd are as excited and energetic as the band tonight. It’s been a gleaming success.
